Travel Award to FOCIS Advanced Course 2017 FCE

Our FOCIS centre has the opportunity to nominate trainees to attend the FOCIS advance course in basic and clinical immunology in Feb 2017 in Scottsdale Arizona- in the past we’ve sent clinical fellows, post-docs or grad students who are new to the area of immunotherapy and want a crash course.

Each FOCIS Center of Excellence may select up to two clinical fellows to receive travel awards. $1,200 will be reimbursed for a single fellow or $600 each for two fellows, for a total of $1,200 per institution. A total of 25 awards are available, and they will be granted on a first come, first served basis. Any competitive selection process within your institution is at your discretion.

This registration fee includes accomodation/registration and meals, so the nominee would have to find airfare/incidentals and if we nominate 2, then they would get half the registration and need to find the other $600 plus airfare.
